Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Negombo

Negombo is one of the beautiful lagoons surrounding the modern city of Sri Lanka, it’s famous for fishing, and just 10 minutes drive from Bandranayaka International Airport, it’s a peaceful full city with living all religious together, as evidence Buddhism, Hindu Temples Churches and Mosques are around the city, and some Portuguese Churches Dutch Cannel is reminding the colonial’s period of Sri Lanka, Many travelers choose Negombo to stay relax on their arrival of long fly and same as for their Departure,
You may experience in Negombo. Sail in a catamaran with a local fisherman and enjoy traditional fishing, and visit the traditional fish market (local name “Lellama”) and boat ride at famous Negombo Lagoon, and Dutch canal, observe various birds, fauna, and flora in the lagoon wetland, City walk & shopping, visit 18th centuries Grand Roman Catholic church, Ancient Hindu Temples and Buddhist Temples, stay overnight at Negombo

Day 2 – Colombo

Colombo is Capital City, Paradise of Indian Ocean, Pride of colonial heritage, religious & cultural complex, huge modern luxury hotels and apartments, street markets, vegetable markets, pubs and clubs, and all kinds of restaurants to enjoy your nightlife, and you will visit some iconic sites as below.

Sri Kailawasanthan Swamy Temple, Red Mosque, Gangharama Buddhist Temple, National Museum, Viharamaha Devi Park, Independence Square, National Museum, remnants of colonial complexes, lighthouse (Sri Lanka’s last king’s prison), Bandaranayake Memorial International Conference Hall, floating Market, Dutch hospital, etc… Drive back to Negombo stay overnight,

Day 3 – Dambulla

Drive to Dambulla. Visit Dambulla cave temple, BC – 2nd century largest and preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. The caves of the temple filled plenty of Buddha statues and images, all paintings and statues representing the various history of Singhalese sculptures and paintings. And climb Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, which was nominated as 8th wonder of the world,
its 5th centuries fortress of king Kasyapa, it became as a Buddhist monastery after his death, and you can explore much more wonders at Sigiriya, both sites are declared as UNESCO world heritage sites, once you climb down to refresh your self by King Coconut Drink, overnight stay at Dambulla

Day 4

Visit Ancient City of Polonnaruwa, UNESCO world heritage site, 11th and 12th centuries historical capital city, by cycling with an approved site guide, it’s consist mass collections of ancient religious shrines, and Majestic 46 feet rock-carved reclining Buddha’s statue, Rising high 55 feet impressing wall image house, Structured seven stories Marvel ancient Royal palace of king Parakramabahu, royal bathing pool, intricate carved council chamber, thereafter enjoy our adventure game drive wild safari at Minneriya National Park, more than 100 to 200 elephants gathering around the massive lake of Minneriya, its doubtless thrilling experience to bring you memorable moment of your life, and the park is home for some kind of reptiles mammals and birds, you will experience 3 to 4 hours of wild safari, Overnight stay at Dambulla

Day 5

Village tour to explore Sri Lankan village and farmers lifestyle, the tour starts with bullock cart ride, through the village street and then cross the lake by Yacht (local name “Oruwa”), while enjoying scenic nature view of villages, once we reach the Village, farmers family will be welcoming you to their village house, and you are enjoying traditional cooking while supporting to farmer’s wife, and have live prepared organic lunch at the Village house. Thereafter visit ancient wood carving and Andy craft factory, afternoon Kayaking at Beautiful Thalkote Lake while enjoying birds and eagles flying around and hunting fishes on the lake, and Iconic view of Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rock, thereafter enjoy fresh lake fish BBQ with local arrack Cocktails, overnight stay at Dambulla

Day 6

Drive to UNESCO world heritage site, and you would experience 5th centuries and 1st ancient capital city of Sri Lanka “Anuradhapura” consist of well-protected ancient ruins, and you will visit Sri Maha Bodhiya, over 2000years old “Sacred Bo Tree” (2600 years ago Gautama Buddha achieved enlightenment under a tree, thereafter the tree has gained adored status and known as “Bodhi Tree”, a branch of an original tree brought from India by Maha There Sangamitta and planted in Anuradhapura). And the world’s largest ancient brick buildings, ancient carvings, ancient centuries hydrological “Royal Twin Bathing Pond” and much more. Thereafter drive to “Trincomalee” northeast coast sandy blue beach, be leisure and stay overnight at Trincomalee.

Day 7 & 8

Trincomalee is a beautiful natural port city, its sandy blue beaches are really popular in the northeast coast region, and thousands of tourists visit every year, also it’s one of world popular place for divers, snorkelers. And the marine National Park “Pigeon Island” is an outstanding place for snorkeling, we have so many things to enjoy there, so you can choose things which you prefer and then we can arrange the things according to our 2 day stays at Trincomalee. This can do as below,

  • Boat ride to pigeon Island and Snorkeling, Diving, Dolphins and Whales watching, (depending on the season, between May to October)

Day 9

Early drive to Sri Lanka’s last king’s capital city ‘Kandy’ it’s known as the capital of hills, surrounded with green forest mountains, This city is most popular tourists destination of Sri Lanka, the temple of the tooth relic is a most sacred Buddhist temple, and the Royal Botanical Garden the place for rare medical herbs, spices, giant bamboo trees and much more, en-route visit Herbal and Spice garden, located in Matale District, this is the area for growing all kind of spices and herbs, the natural soil and weather helps to grow spices and herbs in this area, you will be explained about all Ayurvedic medicines and cosmetics products through natural spices and herbs, you will have complimentary Ayurvedic head massage by an Ayurvedic therapist. Day 10

Sightseeing Kandy City tour, Gem museum, Silk factory, Bahirawakanda Buddha statue, Royal Botanical Garden, Kandy city viewpoint, lake walk or boat ride, worship Sri Lanka’s most sacred Temple of Tooth Relic, follow up colorful Cultural Dancing Program, overnight stay at Kandy

Day 11

Early drive to visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage, it provides care and protection for injured and orphaned elephants found in wild, since 1975 by wildlife conservation department, here you can experience milk feeding for baby elephants, and playing and bathing at the river with elephant’s family and friends, and the same time we can organize spend little time with a friendly elephant, as bathing, walking and feeding them yourself (optional). After driving to Nuwara Eliya, en-route visit the Ramboda waterfalls viewpoint. And visit Tea Plantation, Tea Factory, and tea tasting (different flavors of tea) at the tea factory. Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya

Day 12

Day 13

Early in the Morning with a packed breakfast drive to Horton Plains by a manual or 4 wheel vehicle. The coldest and windiest Horton Plains consists of evergreen mountain forests, green grass, and swampy lands of the aquatic ecosystem. Day 14

Ella is a charming hill country of Sri Lanka, lush green tea plantations, gushing waterfalls, mountain forests, caves, and cascades with cool weather draws travelers to Ella, nature of cleft mountains lofty view of sunrise gives you the different feelings of our mind, in Ella, we Visit Little Adam’s Peak, Nine Arch Bridge, Rawana Water Falls, and an adventure hiking to Largest underground cave pond, “Nil Diya Pokuna” history says this is the cave that “Goddess Sitha” abducted & kept safe and comfortable by Legend King Rawana, and also believed the tunnel was connected with many other areas under the ground, doubtless it will give you a thriller adventure experience. Day 16/17/18

we drive to Arugambay Surf Beach, it consists world-famous surfing points regardless junior & senior surfers, according to our tour plan, Day 16 / 17 / 18 nights we stay at Arugambay, things that you can do at Arugambay Enjoy the beach and be leisure under the perfect sunshine “Surfing” you can surf with an approved private surfing Instructor, if you are fresh for surfing, if you are a professional surfer you can surf your own, (we can rent a surf boat for your own use)

Day 19

Drive to Yala National Park, en-route visit Hindu Lord Muruga’s Temple “Katharagama”, it’s a worship place of pilgrimage among Hindus and Buddhists for centuries, pilgrims true feel six-faced and twelve armed Katharagama “God Murugan” blesses for their good peaceful life, next we visit Kiri Vehera, The Kiri Vehera is also known as ‘the milk stupa’, The Kiri Vehera depicts the relationship of Hinduism and Buddhism for centuries. The 6th century Kiri Vehera is one of the most famous Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the country. Overnight stay at Yala campsite and enjoy BBQ dinner with our local arracks & beers,

Day 20

Drive to Yala National Park, its 2nd largest National Park in Sri Lanka, 130000 hectares of protected wildlife area consists of lagoons, tanks, light forests, scrubs, and grasslands, and it’s a famous place for rare leopards and in edition able to spot many other animals like elephants, spotted deer, sloth bear, wild boar, reptiles and birds, able to experience dancing of male “peacocks” open their full feathers to impress female peacocks. A game safari ride of Yala National Park would be a great opportunity to discover a huge variety of animals and their natural habitats. And stay overnight at Yala

Day 21

Drive to down south sandy beach, excellent beach weather expected in southern cost in November to May, can be leisure and enjoy the beautiful beaches under the perfect sunshine long hours along the bays, as Wadduwa, Beruwala, Bentota, Hikkaduwa, Galle, Unawatuna, Weligama and Tangalle in East, so our drive is to Weligama and overnight stay at Weligama

Day 22

During the season you can enjoy a Marine Adventure whales and Dolphins watching tour or still enjoy the beaches around Weligama and overnight stay at Weligama

Day 23

Drive to Benthota en-route visit,

Galle. The wondrous natural harbor of Galle dated back to the 12th century, it has been used as the main seaport till constructed Colombo harbor, and the Galle Dutch fort was built by the Portuguese in the 15th century and it’s fortified by the Dutch and after it has been used by British colonial period, can experience long centuries of colonial architecture influence while walking on Dutch fort streets, sunset of Galle Fort is an amazing scenic view of relaxing your mind for sometimes, it has declared as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1988.

Hikkaduwa, long sandy beach and perfect raising waves draws senior suffers to Hikkaduwa, to perform their surfing skills, and also Hikkaduwa famous for diving and snorkeling, (Snorkeling in Hikkaduwa is a wonderful excursion for exploring underwater hidden beauty.) Tsunami Museum is aimed at educating communities on Tsunami and preserving the memories of the 2004 Tsunami. Thereafter visit the turtle conservation project, here you will experience a lot of information about Sri Lanka’s sea turtle project, overnight stay at Bentota

Day 24

In Bentota, you will experience outstanding first-grade water sports, and water adventures as windsurfing, jet skiing, diving, sea fishing, and more, nearby able to do Madu River Safari, Madu river surrounded by soggy marshland and mangroves forests, it covers about 150 of acres, able to discover animals like wild boars, monkeys and squirrels, common birds as kingfishers and cormorants, and reptiles like lizards and crocodiles, income source of locals in this region is cinnamon, we can purchase best quality cinnamon on this region, and also experience produce of cinnamon products and a highlight of the Madu River is “fish Spa” Natural Foot Therapy by more than hundreds of fishes of Madu River is popular among the tourists and locals. Day 25

Last Day of our long journey, we transfer you to the airport or if you wish to stay some more days be leisure at our white sandy south coast beach, we are glad to provide Airport Transfer on your Departure day
